An independent collective of DJs, producers and multidisciplinary artists pushing electronic music in Algeria and the wider region.
The logo is built around three symbolic characters representing the identity and foundations of the project:
The choice of these three writing systems reflects the cultural richness of Algeria, shaped by the coexistence and influence of multiple heritages: Amazigh (Berber) culture, Latin and Mediterranean culture, and Arab culture.
Through this graphic fusion, the logo expresses a modern vision of Algerian identity — open, plural and connected to the world, while remaining deeply rooted in its origins.

Lkemia explores the alchemy of sound — raw, genre-defying electronics with Algerian soul. Born from ATM, our name comes from the dialect word "lqemia" (alchemy).
We see each artist as a sound alchemist mixing their own unique elements. We spotlight Algerian music and creators to the world.
As we grow, we're crafting something distinctly Algerian — experimental sounds that push perception, treating sound as physical matter with spectral qualities worth exploring. Beyond music, we collaborate with Algerian visual artists, bringing their work to our releases and projects.
Gurzil Records is our flagship techno imprint, showcasing Algeria's finest underground artists.
We're Algeria's first underground techno label, built by ATM to support and promote Algerian artists alongside voices from North Africa and the Middle East.
The name comes from Berber mythology — Gurzil, god of war and power, symbolised by a bull's head carried into battle. You'll find echoes of this figure across Mediterranean cultures, like the Minotaur.
Here, artists express themselves without limits — pushing boundaries and challenging what electronic music can be, while staying rooted in our heritage.
Our podcast series spotlighting DJs from Algeria, North Africa, and the Middle East. We created it to connect Algerian listeners with artists — often acclaimed internationally but unknown at home.
The name comes from "طريقة" (method, way, creed) — a concept for mystical teaching and spiritual practice in pursuit of truth. Each DJ takes us on their personal Tariqa — their unique path through underground electronic sounds.
Listen on SoundCloud →Labyrinth is a collective event of the Algerian Techno Movement — underground electronic music and visual arts. Its goal is to develop the local scene and create cultural exchanges across North Africa and the Middle East, highlighting regional artists and culture.
This event offers immersive experiences around music and artistic installations, drawing on local and regional culture to present both modern and traditional art while modernising heritage with contemporary artists.

The Algerian Techno Movement is a collective of DJs, producers and multidisciplinary artists pushing underground electronic music in Algeria.
Founded by pioneers of Algeria's techno and underground scene, we're here to open doors to techno and other electronic genres in Algeria, spotlighting local talent despite the challenges our music scene faces.
What drives us is musical diversity and raw artistic expression. We dig into Algeria's identity — its music, folklore, cinema, architecture — and use that as fuel for new electronic sounds. Through constant experimentation, we're building something that's uniquely ours.
We're changing how music works here, breaking through cultural barriers and industry limitations. Our goal: showcase Algeria's creative wealth while building a community where electronic music can thrive.
